| “Democratic Faction (SPS+YABLOKO)” was
created at a meeting of deputies in the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg
held on Wednesday, January 28, 2004.
According to the Press Service of St. Petersburg’s YABLOKO branch,
the faction includes four representatives from each faction. Coordinators
of the faction are Igor Artemyev (YABLOKO) and Vitali Martynenko (SPS).
The SPS+YABLOKO faction also includes: Mikhail
Amosov, Igor Artemyev, Natalia Evdokimova and Andrei Cherhikh from
YABLOKO and Yuri Galdkov, Vitali Martynenko. Sergei Gulyaev and Sergei
Kovalyov from SPS.
Pavel Solotan (YABLOKO) and Alexander Kuschak (SPS) did not join the
new faction.
