Deputy Speaker of the State Duma, First Deputy Chairman of the YABLOKO party Vladimir Lukin told Echo Moskvi radio station that there would be no alliance between YABLOKO and communists.
Lukin also called the billboards that appeared in Moscow streets and picture YABLOKO with a sickle and hammer under a slogan "We Are Together" a provocation and 'black PR'.
YABLOKO has already demanded that the Central Electoral commission investigate this incident.
According to Gazeta, YABLOKO's leadership is not ready to publicly name the political forces that possibly ordered these billboards: however, another Deputy Chairman of the YABLOKO party Sergei Mitrokhin stated that "the emergence of such billboards is related to a strengthening of YABLOKO which aroused the concern of a number of forces, including those in power."
