| Moscow, February 27, 2003. "Boris Fyodorov
has not conducted and is not holding any talks with our party on
including his candidacy in the federal list of YABLOKO at the State
Duma elections," said Deputy Head of theYABLOKO party Sergei
Mitrokhin to the Rosbalt correspondent on Thursday, February
27, 2003. "He (Fyodorov) and his Republican Party are fully
entitled to hold negotiations on this issue with the SPS,"
added Mitrokhin.
Rumours about consultations between YABLOKO and the SPS with
other representatives of the democratic movement on possible alliances
intensified after the abortive union between YABLOKO and the SPS.
In particular, some media reported that possible cooperation at
the Duma elections with the Republican Party of Russia and Boris
Fyodorov had been considered.
