| MOSCOW, December 8 (Itar-Tass) - The following are the
results of the elections to the State Duma in Moscow after 95 percent of
the ballot papers were counted.
United Russia (leader Boris Gryzlov) - 34,58 percent
Rodina (leader Sergei Glazyev)- 15.26 percent
YABLOKO ( leader Grigory Yavlinsky)
- 10.12 percent
SPS- (leaders A. Chubas, B.Nemtsov) - 7.79 percent
Communist party (leader Gennady Zyuganov ) - 7.63 percent
LDPR ( eader Vladimir Zhirinovsky) - 6.47 percent
A total of 6.39 percent of the electorate in Moscow have voted against
all candidates.
The turnout in the Duma elections in Moscow was 57 percent out of 6,888,000
registered voters. The official results will be announced by December
10, Gorbunov said.
