MOSCOW, December 7 (Itar-Tass) -- Yabloko leader Grigory
Yavlinsky thinks they were right to reject an alliance with the Union
of Right-Wing Forces (SPS).
"We are different parties and our voters are different. It was
a
conscious choice," Yavlinsky said on Channel 1.
The preliminary results of the election "were predictable and
anticipated," he noted. Parties were under unequal circumstances
from the
very start, in particular, in the access to television, he said.
Yavlinsky thinks that Yabloko will have 6-8% of votes in the Duma
election. He said they expect to compensate the current lag with votes
in
western regions of Russia.
