Moscow, October 2, 2003 /BPI/. Grigory
Yavlinsky calls for an amnesty of the privatisation deals of the 1990s.
Such a statement was made by the YABLOKO leader at the meeting of the World
Economic Forum (Moscow, October 2, 2003).
According to Yavlinsky, the present economic situation demonstrates
"the need to legitimatise privatisation". Yavlinsky also noted
that deputies from the YABLOKO faction would submit to the State Duma
a package of draft laws containing amendments to a number of legislative
acts
to recognise all privatisation deals of the past ten years as lawful,
including those to be reviewed in court, but excluding murder cases.
Yavlinsky also thinks that "the administrative revision of privatisation
results is also unacceptable."
