Vladimir Putin met with the Yabloko leader Grigory Yavlinsky,
Head of
the
Yabloko faction in the State Duma, and several other members of
the
Yabloko
faction in the Kremlin. According to the press service of the
Yabloko
faction, the meeting lasted for about three and a half hours.
They discussed investments in the Russian economy, as well as
other
problems
related to the country’s economic development strategy, military
reform
and
the transition to a contract-based army, the prospects of judicial
reform,
and ways of consolidating the financial base of local government.
