The parties, represented by the Administration of Tomsk Region and the
Yabloko faction of the State Duma of the
Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, pointing to considerable
potential for mutually advantageous
cooperation and strategic partnership in the socio-economic and
political fields have concluded the present
Memorandum on the following:
The parties have agreed to cooperate on the formation of
inter-budgetary relations and adoption of the budget
of the RF for the next year with due account of the interests of Tomsk
region.
The parties have agreed to cooperate on the implementation of the
Programme to Celebrate the 400th
Anniversary of Tomsk.
The parties shall coordinate their efforts to restore the second
one-mandate [electoral] district at the elections
of the deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
The parties believe that it is sensible to cooperate in the development
and implementation of pilot economic and
social development projects of municipal entities in Tomsk Region.
The parties shall provide support to measures aimed at political
stability, the formation and development of civil
society institutions.
The present Memorandum has been drafted in two copies and was signed in
Tomsk on March 29, 2001.
