The
YABLOKO party succeeded in prohibiting infill construction
of a residential and cultural complex at Tverskoi Boulevard
17/7-8. The Moscow Government issued a resolution prohibiting
construction works in the historic area.
YABLOKO together with the residents of the house No 8 at
Bolshaya Bronnaya has been fighting against infill construction
at the historic Moscow boulevard since 2007.
On September 15, 2009, the Moscow government issued a resolution
canceling the construction of the complex at Tverskoi Boulevard.
Irina Kozina, representative of the initiative group of the
citizens, expressed their gratitude to the YABLOKO party for
assistance in the fight against in-fill construction.
