The book “Overcoming of Stalin’s Legacy” published by the
YABLOKO party is available now.
The book contains the decision of the Political Committee
of the Russian United Democratic party YABLOKO on overcoming
the legacy of bolshevism and Stalinism, YABLOKO’s assessment
of the key issues of Russian history of the 20th century
and argumentation for the need of overcoming the legacy
of bolshevism and Stalinism as the key pre-requisite for
Russia’s modernization in the 21st century.
It is the first time that a political decision containing
assessment of the coup of 1917 and the Stalin’s system is
adopted. The book also presents a discussion by Russia’s
leading human rights activists and experts, as well as documents
and publications forming the basis of their argumentation.
