On June 9-10 2001, the All-Russia Forum of Yabloko's representatives in the legislative and executive authorities will take place in St. Petersburg. About 400 members of Yabloko from all of Russia will participate in this Forum.

Chairman of the Yabloko Association Grigory Yavlinsky will present a report entitled "The Yabloko Party in Russia's Political Life" at the meeting.

Other reports will be made by secretaries of the Yabloko party and deputies of the State Duma of the RF Igor Artemyev (on further development of budget and financial policies in Russia's regions), Sergei Mitrokhin (on the prospects for development of legislation in federative relationships and local government), Sergei Ivanenko (on the interaction of Yabloko and the authorities) and the leader of the Yabloko faction in the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly Mikhail Amosov (on the budget process in St. Petersburg).

A press-conference with the Chairman of the Yabloko Association, Grigory Yavlinsky will take place on June 9.

Section work is scheduled for the second day of the forum. The following topics will be discussed: "The Budgetš and the Budgetary Process", "Investment Policy and Property Management", "Housing and Communal Services and Competitive Procedures in Local Government", "Legal Basis of Local Government" and "Strategic Planning in the Regions".

On May 10 the Central Council of Yabloko will open a two-day session in Pavlovsk. Yavlinsky will present a report entitled "The Political Situation in the Country and the Tasks for Yabloko". The meeting will also listen to reports from the secretaries of Yabloko on ideology and party-building Sergei Mitrokhin and Larissa Nikulina, and will also consider a number of Yabloko's internal issues.
